SUNSET SKY – IBIZA DAY FOUR

Nadia El Ferdaoussi sunset Ibiza holiday [vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

I don’t know how I’ve made it this far in Ibiza without seeing a full sunset having a little splash about. Well actually, the jellyfish hampered our efforts when we went over to Formentera and any other chance we’ve had I’ve chosen to hit up the wifi instead and get some work done, freelance life yo! Trust me, I’m not complaining.

But you simply cannot come to Ibiza and not go for a swim, so we got up early and did a no-phone power hour of jumping in the pool and a lazy breakfast with no technology. Bliss. Although the no tech isn’t completely accurate though, because if Michael’s around, then GoPro’s around – complete with mouth mount for handsfree action shots. I’ve been testing out my Kaiser Bass X150 action cam out here too, their accessories fit GoPro as well so it’s pretty easy to interchange.

It’s situated on a stretch of rocky coastline, tucked away in Santa Eulalia. There’s a very cute (but pricy) boutique, bean bags under straw umbrellas, chill-out tunes and comfortable casual dining. Loved the vibes at Babylon, but the locally grown and organic food was even better.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”2881″ img_size=”large”][vc_single_image image=”2882″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]The best calamari I’ve had in ages, hot and delicious stonebaked pizza, beef carpaccio with rocket and parmesan and chickpea and coconut curry I’d spilled all down my baby blue top within seconds.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”2890″ img_size=”large”][vc_single_image image=”2889″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The lightly blush coloured rosé wine is to die for here and goes with almost everything, but it’s very very easy to drink. Babylon make some interesting cocktail concoctions too, like the gin based basil and sundried tomato one I tried. Divine![/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”2879″ img_size=”large”][vc_single_image image=”2878″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”2887″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]After a pretty boozy lunch, we went and checked into the infamous Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel, but more on that tomorrow.

We dumped our bags, quickly got changed and went to chase the sunset.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”2876″ img_size=”large”][vc_single_image image=”2874″ img_size=”large”][vc_single_image image=”2877″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Hostal la Torre is located in the countryside of San Antonio, so is a prime spot for unbeatable and unobstructed Ibiza sunset viewing and day four’s one was a belter![/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”2886″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_raw_html]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[/vc_raw_html][vc_single_image image=”2892″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Photography by Michael Vanarey, Jodie DS for Essential Ibiza and Nadia El Ferdaoussi (click on images for credits).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
