Yoga and Hiking in the French Alps

Me and my notions decided to pack up and head off to the French Alps for a bit of R&R, or yoga and hiking actually, last week and I can safely say it’s the first time I’ve come back from a trip feeling better than when I left. I’d already been on a multi activity yoga trip with Yoganic Moves (well, if watching the crew sail the 99ft gullet yacht is classed as an activity) in Turkey earlier this year so when instructor Annick invited me to go yoga and hiking in the French Alps, it was a no brainer. You know the usual saying, “you’d need another holiday to get over it”? Well I got a bit sick of feeling worse-off after a supposed “break”, so I decided a bit of fresh air, outdoor activities and healthy eating were exactly what I needed.

Bordeaux Banter

Bordeaux is only a one hour and twenty minute flight from Dublin, who knew? Oh, all of you, ok. Well, I hadn’t been to France since I was a child so I was pretty excited to head over to what’s basically the centre of the wine universe last week.
